Description
Wood fibre is made from untreated softwood and is light, airy and easy to rewet. In peat-reduced and peat-free mixes, it takes over part of the structural role of peat.
Please note: wood fibre locks up nitrogen during the first few weeks and breaks down faster than peat. Mix it in with an adjusted fertiliser and preferably use it in short to medium-length crops, or in combination with more stable raw materials.
