Incoterms at a glance
A brief summary for guidance only. The official Incoterms rules and the terms of the quotation apply.
- EXW
- You collect the goods at the loading site and arrange transport and export formalities yourself.
- FCA
- We deliver the goods, cleared for export, to the carrier you nominate.
- FOB default
- We deliver on board the vessel at [Port of loading]; from that point the risk passes to you.
- CFR
- We pay sea freight to the port of destination; the risk passes once the goods are loaded on board.
- CIF
- As CFR, plus cargo insurance for the sea voyage.
- DAP
- We deliver to the agreed place of destination, ready for unloading; import clearance and duties are for you.
Documents
- Phytosanitary certificate
- Certificate of origin
- Certificate of analysis (batch lab analysis)
Which documents are needed depends on the destination country and the product. Tell us in your enquiry what you need; we agree in advance what is feasible. Please also check the import requirements for growing media and raw materials in your own country: some countries apply additional rules to organic materials such as peat, coir and bark.
