Fine coir is one of the key raw materials in our peat-reduced and peat-free mixes. The pith from the coconut husk holds a lot of water, quickly takes it up again after drying out and keeps its structure for a long time. That makes it one of the most widely used peat replacements.
The coir pith is washed and buffered, so the EC is low and sodium and potassium do not upset the nutrition. It is unfertilised, so you can add the nutrition your crop needs yourself.
