Description
Ground dolomite lime supplies calcium and magnesium and raises the pH of peat, bark and acidic soil. In substrate production, lime is used to bring unlimed peat to the desired pH level.
The amount needed depends on the raw material and the target pH; for unlimed white peat it is often a few kilos per cubic metre. Lime does not work instantly: measure the pH again a few weeks after mixing it in.
- 5 kg bag (also suitable as a retail pack) or 25 kg bag
- Do not use for acid-loving plants such as rhododendron, heather and blueberry
