Description
Perlite is expanded volcanic rock. It contains no nutrients, does not affect the pH and does not break down. What it does do is permanently add air and drainage to any mix.
With a 2-6 mm grain size, this perlite is suitable for mixing into seed and cutting mixes, houseplant mixes and potting mixes. Tip: moisten perlite lightly before use to keep dust down.
