Description
Peat and other organic raw materials can become water-repellent when they dry out. A wetting agent lowers the surface tension of water, so the substrate wets evenly again and water does not simply run off down the side of the pot.
These granules are designed to be mixed in when substrates are being made up. In a bespoke mix, the wetting agent can be incorporated directly.

Storage and handling
Store bags dry, sealed and out of direct sun. Cover loose bulk against rain and drying out. Use fertilised substrates preferably within a few months and check pH and EC before use if in doubt.
